Thirty Eight Chairs is ready to host your next event!

Thirty Eight Chairs can host events of up to 15 – 30 people in the main restaurant.

Large group bookings may be seated in either our main dining room or our private space next door depending on availability, final number of the guests and time of the year. Please enquire via email about your function and we will get back to you with accurate details on how we can best accommodate you.

If you would like to book the private space for a group smaller than 20, please get in contact with us for more information regarding cost and menu options.

    TERMS AND CONDITIONS

    Group bookings may be seated in either our main dining room or our next-door bistro room, depending on availability.

    All reservations of 10+ guests are required to dine on a pre-arranged group menu.

     

    Service fee : A 5% service fee applies for all groups of 11 guests or more.

    An additional 10% surcharge applies on Sundays and 15% on Public Holidays

    All private functions which hire a room will incur a $200 fee (only for private functions in which a private room is hired).

     

    Final menu choices and dietary requirements must be confirmed 1 week prior to your event.

    Final numbers are to be confirmed 48 hours prior to your event.

    Any changes to numbers within 48 hours of the function will be subject to a $50 per head fee.

    Thirty Eight Chairs will take all necessary care, but accepts no responsibility for damage or loss of personal articles left in the restaurant.

     

    Full payment is due at the time of your event. Prices are inclusive of GST. Please note, credit card transactions will incur a processing fee. To avoid this we also accept cash, cheque and direct deposit before your event (email us for bank details).

    In the event that a large booking is cancelled within 48 hours of the reservation, a ‘Cancellation Fee’ of $50 per person may be charged to the credit card used to finalise the booking

    Credit card details and completion of this form are required to finalise all group bookings. Failure to do so will result in the

    tentative reservation being released.
